On February 19, 2008 Bill Kasch commissioned International Artist Barbara Lancaster to paint a mural to be displayed in Downtown Longview, Washington. Bill provided a black and white photo of the Executives of Long-Bell Lumber Company taken in 1923 . From this photo Barbara created the below Mural Presented to the City of Longview on May 3rd 2008 By Bill and His wife Donna. The Mural will be displayed on a building at the corner of Hudson and Commerce Ave after repairs are completed to the building. The Mural Founding Fathers can be viewed in the Lobby of the Merk located at Commerce and Broadway. This year is the 85th anniverary of the founding of the "Planned City" Longview, Washington 1923.

W.F. Ryder (Ryderwoods' name sake), Wesley Vandercook (chief engineer), J.D. Tennant (Vice-President) *****S.M. (Mark) Morris (Vice-President) R.S. Davis (traffic manager) and R.A. Long founder of the City of Longview and Chairman of the Board Long-Bell Lumber Company (1927 Long-Bell Mill was the largest lumber mill in the world.)
